editorial explores the mask as a tool of distortion as well as non compliance omnipresent in the virtual reality that generation z lives in. which create tension between carefully curated, aesthetically-pleasing influencer accounts and raw, censored pages left to float on the web. The mask serves as a metaphor for how young people obscure, manipulate and change their identities in the algorithm-controlled online spaces. The editorial takes its inspiration from a Georigian artist Shalva Nkvashviliand and his impeccable ability to explore and implement sexual attributes, kinks, toys and sculpture to create characters that communicate with his online audience through performance art.
