DESCRIPTION:
This shoot has a special place in my heart as it brings back memories of my childhood winters spent playing outside in the snow and near frozen lakes. Coming from Belarus, a country where winters are long and harsh, snow and ice were the main backdrop of my playtime. I can clearly remember flowers, rubbish, fish and animals frozen in ice, as if preserved in time. For this editorial, I wanted to capture my memories through a new perspective. I am using ice, flowers and jewellery to capture the beauty of nature frozen in time. Each composition is carefully curated to create a little world within the realm of the ice, using flowers that I often saw around the streets, at school and in my family home. The goal of this editorial is to encapsulate my memories and create a meaningful visual frozen in time.
